Assembly Supervisor supervises a manufacturing production line that assembles fabricated parts. Creates daily work schedules, follows standard manufacturing procedures, and monitors work to meet product specifications and production targets. Being an Assembly Supervisor resolves production problems and answers workers' questions about processes, methods, or equipment. Delivers training for new processes or equipment and onboard new employees. Additionally, Assembly Supervisor conducts quality testing on completed assemblies to validate tolerances and product specifications. Reviews daily assembly production records to identify trends or potential performance issues. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Assembly Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Assembly Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. We are currently seeking Owner/Operator Independent Contractor Assembly Technicians to perform outdoor playset/swing set/trampoline installation services. A Helper is required, these are at least two-person assemblies
As an independent contractor, you would provide your own general liability insurance, tools, transportation, and a helper if the project requires two people. All playsets are delivered directly to the customer.
This is an independent contractor position and will pay on a per assembly basis. We receive hundreds of requests per year for playset installations and the months of March-August will produce the highest volume of work. We prefer \ teams with their own insurances, and experience building play sets, but if you are handy and willing to learn, we may have opportunities for you.
Tri-State Delivery and Assembly is a Specialized Home Service Company that provides delivery and assembly services to customers in the Tri-State area. We are actively recruiting motivated individuals to assemble products at customer homes.
