An Assembly Technician job in Gulf Breeze, FL is currently accepting applications. This is a contract to hire position with our key aerospace client.

In this role, you will assemble and test the company products in accordance with documented work instructions to ensure the units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities :

• Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Interpret assembly drawings and process flow instructions.
• Must be trained across all assembly stages.
• Work under minimal supervision.
• Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals.
• Resolve most questions and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher levels.
• Identify quality and reliability issues and submit recommendations for improvements.
• Develop personal goals and objectives for continuous improvement in support of Company and Department goals and objectives
• Maintain workplace organization.

Job Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Vocational school or secondary education in electronics technology strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Word and Excel
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment.
• Aerospace / Aviation experience preferred.

Physical Requirements :

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit.
• The employee is occasionally required to reach out with hands and arms, to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• The employee may be required to lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
