Job Description:

As an Assembly Technician, you understand how important it is for products to be manufactured efficiently and reliably to get them in the hands of excited customers. You have a passion for plants and top-quality food and are an ambassador for Babylon and our mission. Moreover, having high attention to detail and being focused and well organized are among your strongest skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble components, subassemblies and/or complete Micro-Farms
• Use basic hand and power tools, including saws, drills, etc.
• Perform quality checks on your and others’ work
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Report on assembly progress
• Help implement and develop continuous improvement projects
• Follow workflow and schedule
• Ensure the safety of yourself and others by following Health and Safety legislation and guidelines
• Occasionally perform miscellaneous tasks to support other departments, such as helping with maintenance of farms or horticulture

Requirements:

• Manufacturing or assembly experience, ideally with products in related fields such as electronics and appliances (Preferred)
• Valid driver's license and authorized to work in the US.
• Ability to lift 50 Lbs.
• Ability to work on step ladder safely
• Ability to use power tools safely.
• Fluent in English
• Strong attention to detail and a good eye and caring for cleanliness
• Both confident and comfortable working alone as well as part of a team

Pay:

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience
