The Preassembly Supervisor will be responsible for managing and leading a team of skilled technicians engaged in various preassembly activities, including, Insulation, Base Setting, Wall Setting, Hood and Filter Track build, and Fan Build. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the Preassembly Department, meeting production targets, and maintaining the highest standards of product quality.
FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of technicians in the Preassembly Department.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Provide guidance, coaching, and training to team members.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
Implement and oversee continuous improvement initiatives within the Preassembly Department.
Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications in all preassembly activities.
Implement and enforce quality control measures to minimize defects and rework.
Safety: Enforce all safety protocols.
Communication and Reporting: Communicate effectively with other departments to facilitate a seamless production process. Generate regular reports on departmental performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
