Assembly Supervisor supervises a manufacturing production line that assembles fabricated parts. Creates daily work schedules, follows standard manufacturing procedures, and monitors work to meet product specifications and production targets. Being an Assembly Supervisor resolves production problems and answers workers' questions about processes, methods, or equipment. Delivers training for new processes or equipment and onboard new employees. Additionally, Assembly Supervisor conducts quality testing on completed assemblies to validate tolerances and product specifications. Reviews daily assembly production records to identify trends or potential performance issues. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Assembly Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Assembly Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Summary
To ensure all team members within the defined area of responsibility are meeting all daily production goals and targets. Ensure that all team members are working within their assigned work cells during their required work hours.
Responsibilities
Ensure the safety of the team members assigned to your area of responsibility
Ensure defects are within company standards as well as all other key performance indicators
Ensure all team members are following Working/inspection Instructions
Ensure Team Members are following the Company rules and policies
Identify any potential risk that can interrupt the customer production line flow
Be able to identify and implement Kaizens
Maintain Production Visual Management Boards updated, track and follow up issues
Other projects and assignments as requested by the management team
Maintain productivity checking tally sheets constantly
Foresee potential disruptions in the production chain
Qualifications
Minimum Five years of Supervisory Experience
Understanding of the manufacturing processes
Good communication skills (English).
Computer skills (Excel, Power point, Outlook)
Knowledge of TPS (Toyota Production System)

Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 30 Pounds
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to work day or night shift.
Must be able to work over time as required
Working Conditions
Must be able to work in the manufacturing floor 100% of the time
Able to use Protective Equipment according with the safety requirements for each area
Able to work in heavy traffic areas
Able to work in hot and humid conditions
Able to work in noisy areas were hearing protective production standards equipment is required
Able to work with chemicals.
