Pro Resources is searching for a n Assembler for a company based out of Terre Haute, Indiana. They produce devices for heated chemicals since 1939.

80 years later and they are manufacturing parts in the United States and shipped to over 30 countries.

Review current assignments and plan their execution for maximum efficiency.

Prepare materials (cutting wire, stripping wire, tinning, attaching terminals, etc.) for use in products.

Operate hand tools, including drills and rivet tools.

Solder wires and components as directed.

Assemble printed circuit boards and other EM products as directed.

Fabricate wiring harnesses.

Troubleshoot and repair products.

Use various electronic test equipment.

Assemble and test, as directed, electronic controls, accessories and EM products.

Assist with cleaning, packaging and transferring of finished products as directed.

Maintain and process documentation relevant to job assignment.

Responsible for reading work instructions and accurately interpreting information required for production and quality assurance procedures.

Be familiar with tools, materials, methods and procedures.

Responsible for the accuracy and timely completion of all related paperwork.

Responsible for executing assigned tasks in a safe manner and according to company policy.

Be responsible and accountable for any and all tools and material issued to them and promptly reporting any damage to such.

Responsible for compliance with company policies and rules, regular attendance and the efficient use of

Recommend new or different procedures, processes, materials and tooling that could improve the product or reduce costs.

Participate in periodic formal and informal training sessions to maintain and / or improve work related skills.

Perform and complete any other activities which may be associated, assigned or inherent with the position, including the training of co-workers temporarily or permanently assigned to a task that you are familiar or skilled.

QUALIFICATIONS :

High school graduate or GED.

Ability to receive, understand and execute verbal and written instructions.

Ability to measure accurately using micrometer, Vernier calipers, etc.

Ability to accurately use simple electrical and electronic testing equipment.

Basic math skills.

Ability to perceive and distinguish colors accurately.

Regularly required to stand, walk and push wheeled carts.

Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.

Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.

Regularly required to talk and hear.

May be required to sit, stoop, bend or crawl.

R equired to lift, carry and / or move up to 50 pounds.
