Asset/Liability Analyst gathers and analyzes data used in the development of programs and/or models that evaluate the organization's asset/liability strategy. Monitors and reports on interest rate risk and liquidity risk. Being an Asset/Liability Analyst assists in the development and deployment of strategies designed to mitigate these risks. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Asset/Liability Analyst typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Asset/Liability Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.   • The Payroll Analyst will work as part of the Human Resources Team and will be responsible for the functions of payroll, ensuring the bi-weekly payroll runs accurately and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
    Responsibilities:
    • Ensure bi-weekly payroll run is performed timely and accurately
    • Track bi-weekly changes and special circumstances to ensure employees’ pay is processed correctly
    • Processes and distributes PTO-sell checks according to policy
    • Forward Garnishment and 403b Contribution deductions to appropriate Payee
    • Conducts periodic/scheduled audits for all active-terms employees, salary changes, and promotions
    • Participates in payroll, retirement, finance, and HR audits as needed
    • Assist in year-end tax reconciliations, issue W-2s, process W-2s with tax agencies and 1099-s if needed
    • Communicates with employees and managers regarding payroll policies and practices
    • Answer questions and provide training and support as needed to payroll and system issues
    • Pull and distribute bi-weekly and monthly reports as needed
    • Back-up to Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable
    • Assist in the Human Resources and Finance departments as needed
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or related field, or Certified Payroll Professional, or equivalent experience
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and issues with tact and diplomacy
    • Extensive knowledge of the payroll function, including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Excel
    • Thorough understanding of wage and hour laws, including payroll tax withholding, deductions, and garnishments
    • Experience with payroll and retirement audits
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments and proactively anticipate needs
    • Maintains a professional demeanor
