      Assistant Activities Director

      Position Purpose
      To manage and coordinate the school district athletic activities, fine arts activities, and sports programs, and to ensure that all students have an equal opportunity to participate and share in the benefits of the district's activity programs, under the direction of the Activities Director and High School Principal.

      Essential Functions-under the guidance of the Activities Director/High School Principal
      • Support all fine arts activities and athletic activities (coaches, directors, athletes, performers, etc.) as guided by the Activities Director
      • Provide supervision at athletic events and fine arts activities as needed
      • Evaluate coaches, fine arts directors and teaching staff as needed
      • Organize and arrange for workers for athletic events and fine arts events
      • Update equipment and uniform checks (ordering new equipment,uniforms as needed)
      • Prepare athletic facilities and fine arts facilities for upcoming events.

      Qualifications Profile
      • Nebraska Teaching Certificate in administration is required
      Education
      Masters Degree is educational administration is required (or qualify for a provisional)

      Experience
      • Successful experience managing or directing the athletic programs or a school district preferred.
      • Successful Supervisory experience preferred.
      FLSA Status: Exempt
