Assistant Athletic Director - Academic Compliance manages academic counseling unit for a university/college's athletic program. Ensures compliance with NCAA and conference rules and regulations regarding academics. Serves as a representative between the athletic program and prospective student athletes regarding academics. Position Specific Accountabilities
* Experience of NJCAA submission for proof of student eligibility required.
* As assigned, supervise sports and support entities in administration; staff development; student-athlete recruitment, retention, and graduation; rules compliance; and external operations.
* Serve as an ambassador of department culture, aligning the mission, vision, and values by finding opportunities to align the staff and coaches to create a positive work atmosphere and retain and grow employees.
* In coordination with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion policies of the college, be a catalyst for change within the athletic department by implementing best practices for a more diverse and inclusive department.
* Oversight of select athletic department revenue streams, including summer camps and clinics. Work strategically with coaches to ensure superior customer service for all camps and clinics.

Communicate and employ interpersonal actions that model high standards of professional, responsible, accountable, and ethical conduct. Demonstrate a commitment to outstanding customer service. Represent CCC within campus/alumni community and at professional organizations or associations, serve on committees as required. Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
