- Work experience in Financial Reporting, Benefits Administration, Accounting and/or Payroll.
Job Description
Performs complex professional accounting work and develops complex, non-standard payroll reports and reconciliations requiring interpretation and difficult analysis.
Job Duties
- Analyze and prepare complex financial statement and reports such as: HRIS, USAS multi-vendor reimbursement, TRS, ORP & ERS contributions, TWC Employer’s Unemployment Report and Workers Compensation (SORM).
- Prepare university’s tax filings, returns and deposits, including federal and state taxes (941 and W2s) and annual 990s.
- Reconcile payroll accounts, identify payroll discrepancies, and prepare journal entries.
- Maintains the Payroll and Tax Compliance webpage.
