A recognized health services network in New York is actively seeking an experienced Compliance professional to join their staff as their new Director of Compliance.

Responsibilities:

The Director of Compliance will be responsible for the Compliance & Privacy program, including

• Daily operations of the program
• Development, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures
• Training, awareness, and monitoring program compliance
• Investigation and tracking of incidents and breaches
• Ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal laws for assigned locations
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 3 years of Healthcare Compliance / Privacy experience in a Medical Center and/or Health-related field
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
• Experience in a Leadership role
• Solid problem solving and time management skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

Desired Skills:

• Advanced Degree in a Business, Finance or Healthcare related field
• Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and Certified in Healthcare Privacy (CHPC)
