Location: Baylor University - Beauchamp Athletics Nutrition Center

• We are hiring immediately for an ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF DINING SERVICES, ATHLETICS / PERFORMANCE NUTRITION position.
• Address: Baylor University Beauchamp Athletics Nutrition Center; 1120 South 5th. Waco, TX 76706. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time; must be able to work a varied schedule. More details are available upon interview.
• Details: The BANC facility features a downstairs dining hall that seats 160 people, an outdoor terrace, and an upstairs players' lounge, in addition to the fuel station. The Beauchamp Athletics Nutrition Center directly supports the vital role that proper nutrition plays in the pursuit of athletic excellence for Baylor's 550 student-athletes. Complete with a "fuel station" for healthy grab-and-go options, the BANC provides student-athletes with the resources necessary to maintain top-performance health.

  • The assistant director of dining services will assist in managing front-of-house operations, assist the chef with staff management during prep and service periods, manage budget, expenses, and communication with the athletics staff regarding issues that may impact the budget (i.e. food costs, specialty meal items, equipment upgrades, staff overtime, etc.), provide in-service education for staff members.

• Requirement: Food service management; experience in sports/performance nutrition preferred
• Reports to: Director of Dining Services
