Responsibilities:
Lead and Develop Staff:
· Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate coaches and support staff.
· Provide professional development opportunities for coaching staff.
· Monitor team performance and implement improvement strategies.
Oversee Sports Programming:
· Develop and implement a comprehensive athletic program aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
· Coordinate and schedule all athletic events, practices, and competitions.
· Manage budget for the athletic department, including fundraising and resource allocation.
Athletic Culture:
· Foster a culture of sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth among student-athletes and coaches. Using athletics as a platform to point participants to the gospel.
· Work with the Principal to monitor academic progress and well-being, promoting balance between athletics and academics.
· Develop an understanding of the platform provided in athletics, and the responsibility of handling it well.
· Develop an understanding of the athletic culture within the context of the culture and climate of the greater school body.
· Develop programs that work to feed upward with talent, character, and expectation.
Community and Alumni Relations:
