Assistant Campus Recreation Director administers and promotes all non-varsity, club (intramural) sports and wellness program. Plans and organizes campus-wide recreational programs for all students, faculty, and staff. Being an Assistant Campus Recreation Director may supervise student staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Assistant Campus Recreation Director typically reports to Campus Recreation Director. The Assistant Campus Recreation Director supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Position Summary | Position Summary Recreational Services is looking to hire a professional, mature UNM-Gallup student(s) to work as a gym attendant. Candidate(s) should be comfortable working in fast-paced, professional environment and with a high ability to multitask. Duties and Responsibilities · Assist Sports Facility Event Coordinator with the preparation of sports venues for game, tournament, and other special event operations. · Regular cleaning of equipment throughout the day, it also includes picking up of equipment, and laundry. · Gym attendants will tend to the needs of the guests. · Moderate physical activity. Requires occasional lifting, pushing, pulling of objects up to 50lbs. · Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. |
