Plans and organizes campus-wide recreational programs for all students, faculty, and staff. Being an Assistant Campus Recreation Director may supervise student staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Assistant Campus Recreation Director typically reports to Campus Recreation Director. The Assistant Campus Recreation Director supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. The Assistant Food Service Director will assist in planning, directing, and controlling all food service-related activities including: menu development, purchasing, production, and service while managing the operation's budget through effective cost control procedures and systems.
Be accountable for training, coaching and motivating the dining services team and ensuring that all team members comprehend and comply with guidelines, regulations, procedures and policies.
