Assistant Campus Recreation Director administers and promotes all non-varsity, club (intramural) sports and wellness program. Plans and organizes campus-wide recreational programs for all students, faculty, and staff. Being an Assistant Campus Recreation Director may supervise student staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Assistant Campus Recreation Director typically reports to Campus Recreation Director. The Assistant Campus Recreation Director supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.     WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    Responsibilities:

    • Learn new skills and earn more money through our nationally recognized Apprenticeship Program!
    • Organize and plan programs, activities, events, and entertainment to enhance the lives of our residents.
    • Promote initiatives that inspire spiritual, cognitive, social, physical, and creative expressions.
    • Promote and communicate upcoming activities and events to encourage participation.
    • Determine appropriate activity levels based on residents’ cognitive and physical abilities.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Strong communication and personal skills
    • Valid driver’s license
