Assistant Campus Recreation Director administers and promotes all non-varsity, club (intramural) sports and wellness program. Plans and organizes campus-wide recreational programs for all students, faculty, and staff. Being an Assistant Campus Recreation Director may supervise student staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Assistant Campus Recreation Director typically reports to Campus Recreation Director. The Assistant Campus Recreation Director supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Marketing and Communications Student Coordinator
JOB PURPOSE:
The Wellness Center and Campus Recreation provide a multitude of options for student engagement and involvement. We are looking for students interested in promoting holistic wellness to their peers and to the campus community. The Marketing and Communications Student Coordinator will work with The Wellness Center as well as the various program areas within Campus Recreation to manage social media, create content and promote programming.
