Assistant Campus Recreation Director administers and promotes all non-varsity, club (intramural) sports and wellness program. Plans and organizes campus-wide recreational programs for all students, faculty, and staff. Being an Assistant Campus Recreation Director may supervise student staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Assistant Campus Recreation Director typically reports to Campus Recreation Director. The Assistant Campus Recreation Director supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Training and instruction will be provided.A student must be enrolled in six or more semester hours to be eligible for student employment during the fall or spring semesters. To be eligible for student employment during the summer, a student must be enrolled in three or more semester hours or be registered for courses in the upcoming fall semester.Position End Date (if temporary)

1) All employees of SFA Campus Recreation must be certified and maintain certification in CPR/AED/First Aid for Professional Rescuer by the American Red Cross as a condition of employment. You may obtain this certification anywhere; however Campus Recreation offers discounted classes to all current and potential staff. Please consult the Campus Recreation website for more information.
2) All student employees must maintain 6 or more credit hours during the fall and spring semesters to be eligible for employment, or have prior approval from program supervisor.
