Plans and organizes campus-wide recreational programs for all students, faculty, and staff. Being an Assistant Campus Recreation Director may supervise student staff. The Assistant Campus Recreation Director supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.   • PARK MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT (PERMANENT INTERMITTENT) – GOLD FIELDS DISTRICT / FOLSOM LAKE STATE RECREATION AREA

    The reporting location for this position is the Folsom Sector Maintenance Office, located in Folsom. This position will work under the supervision of the Park Maintenance Chief I.

    This position is responsible for all aspects of housekeeping within the sector operation, which may include cleaning restrooms, showers, dusting, vacuuming, and sweeping, refuse disposal and servicing chemical restrooms. The incumbent may also assist with minor maintenance of buildings, grounds, roads, structures, and various systems. Other duties include ordering required supplies or parts, maintenance, and operation of small equipment.

    This position may work up to 1500 hours per year.

    The incumbent’s work schedule will be Thursday to Monday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.


    This position requires a valid Class C driver’s license. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.

    The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.

    This position is designated as not telework eligible.
