Recreation Director

Responsibilities of a Recreation Director:

•  Develop and implement engaging recreational programs and activities suitable for elderly residents.
• Coordinate and supervise recreational staff members to ensure activities are carried out effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate recreational programs into overall resident care plans.
• Maintain records and documentation related to recreational programs and resident participation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications for Recreation Director:

• High school diploma
• Certification as a Recreation Therapist (CTRS) or Certified Activities Director (ADC) strongly preferred.
• LTC/SNF experience preferred
