Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Special Project/ Executive Assistant. This position reports directly to the Managing Director and CEO and includes assistance with organizing travel, company events, Sales Meetings and wholesale selling events, and assistance with overall yearly calendar management. This role exists in a fast paced exciting environment and would include project management of specific tasks such as catalog creation, and sample and showroom management.
Duties:
- Responsible for planning, managing multiple projects and reporting back to the Executive team on progress and identifying roadblocks and solutions to move forward the project to completion.
- Works collaboratively with teams to manage calendars and multiple projects running in parallel, helping to meet all deadlines and gain efficiency.
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Conduct research and compile information as needed
- Assist with special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in multidimensional project management with a proven track record of delivery.
- We need a person who is an organizational engine that keeps all our different tasks on the calendar and ensures their excellent completion.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- This person needs to be highly organized and driven to get things done efficiently and well. It should be a person who is passionate about entrepreneurial endeavors.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to lead and influence in a collaborative, cross-functional group to meet strategic objectives.
