Analyzes player performance to determine improvement plan for the group or individual player. Being an Assistant Coach (Major Sport) provides skill demonstrations of sport coached. Must be familiar with NCAA rules and regulations. Additionally, Assistant Coach (Major Sport) requires a bachelor's degree in the related area. Typically reports to a head coach. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:
To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each of the following duties with energy and enthusiasm:
Cheerfully Greet & Assist our customers when they enter the store.
Perform water balance testing accurately for our customers.
Answer phones with helpful attitude.
Carry customer purchases to the car.
Ensure store is clean at all times; straighten shelves, dust shelves, keep displays & counter area clean.
Be available and willing to work a majority of weekends through the summer months.
Occasionally assist with pool equipment repairs, with training.
Assist with maintaining store inventory.
Fill Chlorine Jugs, as needed.
Any other duties, as assigned.
This position reports directly to the manager or owner.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
HS Diploma, or equivalent. Previous retail and/or pool supply experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Position requires constant walking, bending and lifting. Ability to answer phones and become proficient on the functions of our POS system and water test computer. Customer interaction is continuous and always done with enthusiasm.
