The Assistant/Associate Director of Sport Performance will lead, plan and coordinate all aspects of competitive intercollegiate sports performance programming including strength and conditioning, speed and agility training, effective teaching of exercise technique, and all components of the Peak Performance Strategy to enhance and complement sport specific training.
Job Summary:
The Assistant/Associate Director of Sports Performance is responsible for safety and compliance with NCAA Conference and Ithaca College rules and regulations. The successful candidate will work directly with head coaches and assistant coaches to establish appropriate competitive and developmental goals for each sport in each season.
The Assistant/Associate Director of Sport Performance will work closely with colleagues within the Department of Exercise Science & Athletic Training (ESAT) to plan and coordinate all integrative learning activities offered to Strength & Conditioning (S&C) concentration students within the Exercise Science major. The successful candidate must be willing to mentor graduate assistants and student interns in the performance of duties in a manner that complies with Council on Accreditation of Strength and Conditioning Education (CASCE) standards.
Position reports to the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Collaborates with ESAT Faculty.

$68,000 to $74,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
