Duties:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food preparation
- Oversee food service operations and ensure high-quality standards are met
- Manage and train kitchen staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative and appealing dishes
- Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs
- Coordinate banquet events and ensure timely delivery of food items
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a culinary role, preferably as a Sous Chef or Assistant Chef
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and menu planning
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food service management principles and practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient in food handling and safety regulations
- Experience in shift management and restaurant operations is preferred
