Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a Sous Chef, you will manage all aspects of the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen management, food preparation, and team leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development
- Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards
- Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist in creating and implementing new menu items
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency
- Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food management principles
