313 Cafe in Seneca, SC is looking for one pastry chef to be a part of our team. We are located on 807 By Pass 123, Suite 16. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable. We are a small café looking for creative, inspired, passionate and enthusiastic partners to grow our food and beverage offerings in a small town gathering spot.

Responsibilities

• Roll, knead, cut, or shape dough to form sweet rolls, pie crusts, tarts, or other products
• Measure and weigh ingredients
• Prepare pastries and desserts according to recipes
• Work with alternate baking ingredients, try new recipes, be creative in a small kitchen
• Use international flavors in baking and cooking
• Work with owner on other kitchen duties, catering and prep
• Clean and sanitize work station and equipment

Qualifications

• Experience working as a pastry chef or similar role
• Dedicated to working with a team towards one goal
• Attention to detail in all aspects of the kitchen area
• Highly adaptable to various situations and stress levels
• Passionate about food and beverage
• Excited to work with international flavors; fresh and local ingredients
• Ability to adjust to small kitchen and limited equipment
• Adaptable to baking normal cooking and changing daily responsibilities
