We are looking for an experienced baker/pastry chef to work at Franklin Square Market! The best candidates will be able to employ their baking skills to play a critical role in preparing and serving amazing baked goods.
Qualifications
· Knowledge of basic baking techniques such as mixing, blending, folding, and creaming.
· Knowledge of basic pastry decoration with different icings, toppings, etc. to ensure visually appealing presentations.
· Basic decorating skills such as frosting cupcakes, dipping cake pops, and decorating cookies.
· Attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of consistency in products.
· Internally motivated and eager to learn.
· Can reliably arrive at work by 4am/5am and be efficient at that hour.
· Is a team player and understands that we all play an important role in helping the business run smoothly.
· Sense of urgency and attention to working clean/organized.
· Understands food safety guidelines and adheres to them while at work.
