Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join our team. As the assistant Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including food production and kitchen management under the direction of the Head Chef. The ideal candidate is a skilled leader with a passion for culinary excellence and a strong background in food service.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menus in collaboration with the management team
- Supervise and coordinate all culinary activities in the kitchen
- Ensure that food preparation and presentation meet quality standards
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and specials
- Manage food costs and minimize waste

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques and kitchen management principles
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in relation to food handling and preparation
- Culinary degree or certification is preferred, but not required
