Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist the pharmacist in providing medication and healthcare products to patients. Your role will involve preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service to patients.

Duties:
- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Ensure accurate labeling and packaging of medications
- Maintain proper storage and inventory of medications
- Assist in the management of prescription records and patient profiles
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication administration
- Utilize aseptic technique when compounding sterile products
- Perform medication reconciliation and assist with medication therapy management
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines governing pharmacy practice

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active pharmacy technician license in [state]
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy terminology, calculations, and drug classifications
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for prescription processing
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in an acute care or hospital setting is preferred
