Assistant Pharmacy Director assists department head in daily duties and assumes responsibility in his/her absence. Oversees pharmacists and provides pharmacy services. Being an Assistant Pharmacy Director compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceuticals. Typically requires a master's degree in pharmacy or doctor of pharmacy. Additionally, Assistant Pharmacy Director requires state Pharmacist License. Typically reports to top management. The Assistant Pharmacy Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Assistant Pharmacy Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. - Performs other tasks as assigned
- Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards
