Assistant Pharmacy Director jobs in Toledo, OH
Assistant Pharmacy Director assists department head in daily duties and assumes responsibility in his/her absence. Oversees pharmacists and provides pharmacy services. Being an Assistant Pharmacy Director compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceuticals. Typically requires a master's degree in pharmacy or doctor of pharmacy. Additionally, Assistant Pharmacy Director requires state Pharmacist License. Typically reports to top management. The Assistant Pharmacy Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Assistant Pharmacy Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Re-package and label medications
Qualifications
- Current pharmacy technician registration/certification
- Effective computer and keyboarding skills
- Familiarity with pharmacy practice settings, legal requirements and limitations, prescription information and calculations, drug identification and generic equivalents, drug manufacturing, packaging and labeling information, and proper drug handling and storage practices
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
