Payroll Clerk/Administrative Assistant

Principal Manufacturing is seeking a Payroll Clerk to join our team in Broadview, IL. As a leader in fineblanking, conventional stamping and plastic injection molding, Principal Manufacturing sets itself above the competition.

Assist with various activities in the accounting department including billing, process payroll hours for both PMC and temp employees, and scrap logs.

Responsibilities:

• Process paperwork for new employees; enter employee information such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations into the payroll system.
• Ability to resolve payroll discrepancies, invoicing discrepancies, scrap discrepancies, and preventative maintenance discrepancies.
• Verify attendance, hours worked; make pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records.
• Prepare and distribute all payroll reports to managers.
• Daily invoicing and consignment reconciliations.
• Scrap Tracking weight total. Compare PMC weights vs. Scrap Company and enter into log.
• Assist Controller in miscellaneous projects.
• Preventative Maintenance includes summary of unscheduled work orders put into excel, schedule and create work orders for machine maintenance, log into Maintenance Log Pro system and file all paperwork.
• Written and verbal translation from Spanish to English and English to Spanish

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent education/certification
• 2 year payroll experience
• 2 Years billing experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office such as excel, word, power point, etc.
• Bilingual - Spanish
