Assistant School Principal jobs in Killeen, TX

• 217 day contract
• Citizenship, residency, work visa in the United States required

Education/Certification/License:

• Master’s degree 
• Valid Texas principal certificate; or enrolled in a principal certification program and within one year of challenging the principal certification exam to be considered

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Thorough understanding of school operations
• Help to enforce a student discipline management system that results in positive student behavior
• Ensure that school rules are uniformly observed and that student discipline is appropriate and equitable
• Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Ability to implement policy and procedures
• Ability to interpret data
• Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills

Experience:

• Three years experience as a classroom teacher
• Experience in instructional leadership roles preferred
