Job Description:
The Assistant Director is a student-facing professional poised to support, serve, and mentor students. This position will provide professional support and management for recognized student organizations, supervise various student staff teams, and train and develop student organization officers and advisors. The Assistant Director will serve as the point person for Berry Connect, the college's online engagement platform.
The Assistant Director will supervise students on the Campus Guest Services Team overseeing student work training and ticket sales held at the information desk. This position will supervise the Campus Transportation team and develop transportation services to support students. The Assistant Director will lead Commuter Student Initiatives including outreach and support, and programming specific to commuter students as well as lead the #BerryCollegeVotes committee in each major election cycle.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in Higher Education, Business, or related field is preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to detail. Must be student-centered and willing to mentor students. The position requires working occasional nights and weekends for meetings and events.
