    Title: Administrative Assistant to the Director of Student Services
    Terms of Employment: Full-Time; year round
    Job Class: Non-exempt

    Job Goals: This position exists to provide assistance to the Director of Student Services on all levels as needed to manage and direct immediate unplanned tasks as well as execution of mid to large size administrative projects for the SAU. Please see attached job description for a in depth view of the position.
     

    Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferable. Other knowledge and skills are:
     

    • Special Education Administrative Assistant or School secretary experience preferred. 
    • Ability to multitask, independently, and efficiently, as a representative of the Executive Team, maintaining a calm demeanor in a very active and busy environment.
    • Ability to work accurately with numbers, use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, have excellent communication skills, including excellent written and editing skills.
    • Knowledge of grant application and annual district budgeting process. 
    • Full knowledge of the special education process, from pre-referral to discharge, including basic legal points, paperwork requirements, NHDOE mandates, and complete knowledge of EasyIEP.
