Working Conditions
This full-time, exempt position is eligible for benefits, leave, and retirement. Work is hybrid, with most currently done remotely and occasional in-person meetings at our offices in Olympia, Washington. WSAC will provide the equipment and supplies required to work from home, including a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and office chair.
About the Position
WSAC Research seeks a grant research assistant interested in education and state policy who is a team player to join our team. Under the direction of an Associate Director of Research, the research assistant will support the research team in analyzing and reporting information related to student financial aid, postsecondary student success, and educational attainment. The research assistant may help with various aspects of the projects aligned with their skills and interests, including coordinating meetings and tracking progress on project tasks, supporting literature reviews and drafting memos, and cleaning and checking data. The research assistant may also support researchers by creating figures to accompany reports, editing reports and presentations, and completing other tasks as needed. This position will include opportunities for professional growth, including training, mentorship, and engagement with external partners.
