POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is performed in a fast paced Emergency Department. This position requires the ability to work under pressure and with a diverse population, including staff, physicians, client, patient, families, students, first responders, insurance agents and other members of the public on a regular basis.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent required
2. Completion of Medical Terminology required (if not obtained upon hire will be granted 90 days from date of hire to complete)
3. Current BLS Certificate from American Heart Association and bi-annual maintenance required
4. OSHA Certificate preferred
5. One year ED experience or equivalent combination of training & experience preferred
