The Assistant Vice President of Facilities assists the Sr. Vice President of Facilities (SVP) in the administration and management of all aspects related to facilities, grounds, land line & cellular telephones, purchasing, vehicles, furniture, equipment, supplies, cleaning services, pest control and related contract services.
A Bachelor of Science Degree with administrative and technical training, or related field (Construction management, communications, business management or facility management) is required; Master of Science Degree preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of Facility Management experience, as well as working knowledge of Fire Protection and Life Safety Codes, National Electrical Code, Plumbing and Construction codes, including the American with Disabilities Act codes, and knowledge of telephone communications systems is required. A valid, non-restricted driver’s license is required.
