Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks.     We are seeking a professional and proactive Receptionist with exceptional communication skills and a proficient understanding of QuickBooks.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk, answering phone calls, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of the office.
     
    Responsibilities:
    Front Desk Management:
    • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
    • Manage the flow of the reception area and ensure a tidy and organized workspace.
    • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
    Phone Management:
    • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner.
    • Take accurate messages and ensure they are relayed to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
    • Provide information to callers and assist them with their inquiries.
    Administrative Support:
    • Assist in various administrative tasks as needed such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments.
    • Maintain office supplies and keep inventory up to date.
    • Assist in organizing meetings and scheduling appointments.
    QuickBooks Expertise:
    • Possess a strong understanding of QuickBooks software.
    • Manage basic financial tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and maintaining financial records.
    • Work closely with the owner to ensure accurate and updated financial information.
    Requirements:
    • Proven work experience as a receptionist or in a similar role.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks and basic accounting principles.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
    • Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls and inquiries.
    • Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
    • Professional demeanor and a customer service-oriented approach.
