Professor - Architecture provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Architecture typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks.     Responsibilities

    Drafts or Models schematic / conceptual design presentation and design development drawings in AutoCAD or SketchUp with direction from the Design Director and Project Manager
    Complete fully detailed and coordinated Construction Document sets in AutoCAD
    Coordinate with ASD design team for integration of selected finishes and materials into drawings
    Research and source architectural products, and make decisions regarding technical details for construction
    Review shop drawings, project submittals, etc. for document compliance
    Complete detailed drawings for custom furnishings and millwork

    Necessary Skills

    Exceptional AutoCAD skills
    Exceptional 3D Modeling Skills
    Experience and knowledge of construction documentation and technical detailing
    Skillset regarding interior construction, custom millwork and detailing
    Knowledge of construction materials, architectural finishes, interior design products, industry standards and Code

    Requirements, Experience, and Education

    Associate or Bachelor degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field
    Proficient in AutoCAD
    Proficient in 3D Modeling - SketchUp Preferred (REVIT or other 3D Modeling experience is a plus)
    A solid demonstrated understanding of completing a construction document set
    General knowledge of construction materials, standards and codes
    Attention to detail, efficient time management, and ability to work well under pressure
    Fluent in English, with strong verbal written communication skills. Additional languages a plus
    Legally eligible to work in the United States
