    Able to stock shelves on the sales floor and in the cooler
    Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, and lift and carry out trash and place in outside bin
    Able to clean pumps, parking lots and surrounding grounds
    Able to tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products
    Travel

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    Interacts with each customer giving friendly, courteous, fast and accurate customer service
    Greets customers, suggestive sells, using please and thank you
    Follows all Company polices including dress code, employee purchases, credit card restrictions, call out procedures, gas spills, tank monitoring alarms currently called veeder-root alarms
    Enforces local, state, and federal regulations and laws by carding for age restricted products
    Works scheduled hours; punching in/out at appropriate times
    Becomes skilled and knowledgeable in all POS equipment (register, lottery terminal, pre-solutions) providing the customer excellent service; including changing paper and ribbons as needed
    Keeps store clean, dusting, mopping floors and cooler as needed, cleaning windows, dusting product, and cleaning shelving
    Keeps coffee fresh by holding only 1 hour, emptying grounds immediately after brewed, never opening bags before ready to brew, never brewing new into old
    Stocks product on cooler shelves in appropriate locations, fronts and faces product on main floor shelves, bags ice, fills ice in barrels and fountain machines and prices all product properly
    Keeps product fresh for the customer by checking date codes and pulling out of dates off shelves
    Knows how and when to clean equipment like coffee urns, fountain soda machines, latte machines, gas pumps
    Follows food safety precautions and regulations training all food handlers on proper safety and enforcing safe food practices; keeps a log of food service items and temperature checks
    Practices safe habits locking door at appropriate time at night, making frequent cash drops, keeping coin bank locked, being aware of their surroundings, paying attention to customers in the store and reporting any safety issues to management
    Helps management with the training of new employees, helps new employees continue to grow by answering questions or re-training them on a task and works well with all co-workers creating a positive team environment
    Records and completes accurately all required paperwork; store use, waste, cigarette counts, balancing etc
    Handles customer complaints with understanding and gets needed information for management to follow-up
