Position Summary
The Department of Biology in the Pott College of Science, Engineering and Education at the University of Southern Indiana, a public university in Evansville, Indiana, seeks applications for a 9-month non-tenure track, renewable Instructor in Biology or non-tenure track, renewable Contract Assistant Professor of Biology beginning August 2024.
Duties/Responsibilities
The position will teach in a two-semester Human Anatomy and Physiology sequence and other possible courses as needed. In addition, the duties may include advising and/or committee service as needed.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Qualified candidates must have a master's degree in Biology, Family Nurse Practitioner, or closely related field. To qualify for the contract assistant professor position, candidates must have a doctoral degree in Biology, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, or closely related field. ABD considered at the rank of Instructor if doctoral degree is not conferred by hire date.
