We work with University hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and recruiting partners.Job DescriptionDescription:The Radiology Medical Device Microbiology Laboratory supports manufacturing operations for two high-volume medical device manufacturing sites.The lab is responsible for environmental monitoring, bioburden testing, endotoxin testing, and other tasks in support of manufacturing and product release.The laboratory is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and efficiency.Summary:The Microbiologist a functional resource to internal and external customers for New Product and Change Control projects affecting product microbiology (including, but not limited to: bacterial endotoxin testing, bioburden testing, biocompatibility, controlled environments, and sterilization).The Microbiologist develops, validates, and implements new test methods; performs bioburden, endotoxin and environmental testing; and mentors and trains laboratory technicians.Reviews and approves laboratory records. Tracks and trends data; identifies adverse trends and reacts accordingly. Performs root cause investigations and implements corrective actions for microbiological non-conformances. Works under minimal direction and uses judgment to make the correct decisions.
