    Position: Plant Manager

    Objective:

    As the Plant Manager, your role is pivotal in overseeing all plant operations, ensuring production, quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met. You will have the authority to halt production and delivery to address any concerns related to quality, feed safety, or employee safety.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Oversee daily plant operations to exceed customer expectations
    • Manage production, quality control, and product loading
    • Coordinate with shift supervisors to meet manufacturing objectives
    • Develop and manage production plans and budgets
    • Implement cost-effective control systems
    • Ensure safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of operations
    • Maintain inventory of ingredients and monitor cost metrics
    • Monitor plant performance and quality standards
    • Manage labor costs and personnel performance
    • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures
    • Maintain plant facilities and equipment
    • Ensure cleanliness and professionalism for customer tours
    • Provide leadership, training, and development opportunities for staff
    • Ensure audit readiness and compliance with FSMA and HAACP certification requirements
    • Schedule, manage, and develop team members

    The Right Candidate:

    • 3 years of manufacturing management experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Valid driver’s license in good standing
