Spy 6 Radar Support Technician – Pascagoula
Generous PTO, 401K, Health Insurance Package
Annual Salary Range: $44,000– $58,000In-Depth Engineering seeks a Spy 6 Radar Support Technician to join our team in Pascagoula, MS. This individual will be supporting our Aegis Ship Integration and Test (SI&T) program - responsible for ensuring equipment is operable and available for testing. This is a permanent, full-time position.
Must be physically able to work aboard a US Navy ship, lift up to 50lbs, work in a loud environment and support short underway periods. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to domestic locations such as Pearl Harbor HI, Norfolk VA, Everett WA, Mayport FL, Bath ME, Pascagoula MS.
Duties:
- Support equipment light off, integration, testing, troubleshooting, preventative and corrective maintenance, and training for the SPY-6 Radar with the Aegis Test Team (ATT)
- Travel to all domestic and international locations which Aegis ships may operate
- Provide subject matter expertise during troubleshooting/repairing efforts
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma and 1 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of SPY-6 Baseline 10 Equipment Group, equipment safety and standard operating procedures
- Knowledge of Planned Maintenance Subsystem (PMS), digital, analog, and microwave test procedures
- Strong written and oral communications and experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a loud environment (shipyard).
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a DoD secret security clearance
