We seek candidates with a PhD in organic chemistry and relevant postdoctoral experience in the area of flow chemistry specializing in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals.

The mission of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is to carry out and disseminate the results of original research in fundamental and applied areas of chemistry. The department expects its faculty members to publish the results of research in peer-reviewed publications and at scientific meetings, and to secure external funding for the work. Missouri is bounded by Iowa on the north; by Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee across the Mississippi River on the east; on the south by Arkansas; and by Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska (the last across the Missouri River) on the west. Whereas the northern and southern boundaries are straight lines, the Missouri Bootheel protrudes southerly into Arkansas. The two largest rivers are the Mississippi (which defines the eastern boundary of the state) and the Misso...
