Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Assoc. Professor - Communication provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Communication typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks.   • Job Summary

    The main functions of the Utility/Receiving position are dish machine operations, receiving, dirty patient tray return, trash/recycle, dish room sanitation. 

    Job Responsibilities

    • Dish machine set-up/maintenance/chemicals
    • Comply with regulatory standards-dish machine rinse/final rinse temps, testing of sanitizer solution and documenting results.
    • Triple sink standards-prep, scrap, soak, wash, rinse, sanitize, air dry
    • Clean dishes, food carts, pots and pans, silverware, and other kitchen tools in sanitary fashion.
    • Responsible for the sanitation and organization of the cart/recycle room and recycle bins
    • Assist in maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, organization in all kitchen areas.
    • Able to take direction from Lead to perform required duties with little direction.
    • Floor Stock-Assist in stocking pantries in different units by utilizing a par level list and tracking device for billing purposes. FIFO (First In, First Out)
    • Must have the physical ability to push tray carts to the different patient access areas of the hospital. These physical requirements account for lifting or pushing of up to 50 pounds.
    • Receiving –is responsible for putting away food and supply deliveries in the appropriate areas. FIFO
    • Responsible to comply with department rules, sanitation and safety guidelines.
    • Demonstrates ability to multi-task and perform several distinct functions over the course of a shift.

    Education Requirements

    • Preferred: High school diploma or GED 

    Experience Requirements

    • Minimum: 6 months or more experience in a restaurant, food service industry or healthcare industry. 
    • Preferred: One year or more of food service, utility, stock, or housekeeping experience.
