Assoc. Professor - Education teaches courses in the discipline area of education. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Assoc. Professor - Education provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Education typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Job Description :
Teaching hours : up to 20 hours per week
Contract length : 10 or 22 months
Teach students ages 3 to 18 years old
Working hours from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm
- Monday to Friday classes with evenings and weekends off
- Deliver learner centered, engaging lessons to all students
- Ensure equal participation of all students
- Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner
- Actively participate in professional development workshops and activities
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree required (Early Childhood Education preferred)
- TEFL certificate preferred
- Clean criminal background check
- Two years Kindergarten teaching experiences preferred
- Enthusiastic, friendly, flexible, team players who love working with kids
