    How you Will Make a Positive Impact:

    • Support proposal preparation and scope development
    • Undertake engineering, designing, and technical tasks to facilitate the delivery of small to large heavy industrial projects
    • Manage project delivery across all phases, from concept to start-up, including construction and commissioning support
    • Conduct calculations, studies, and reports (e.g., grounding, lighting protection, load studies, arc flash)
    • Develop equipment specifications for procurement.
    • Collaborate with other disciplines (Civil/Structural, Mechanical) for design coordination
    • Provide mentorship to less experienced engineers and team members, ensuring high-quality engineering deliverables consistent with project standards and safety requirements
    • Maintain regular correspondence with clients and external personnel
    • Offer short-term field support during construction
    • Contribute to power distribution design and Arc Flash reports

    The value you bring:
    • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
    • Professional Engineer registration (or eligibility)
    • Experience working in heavy industrial environments is essential
    • Strong technical expertise in power distribution, electrical rooms, MCCs, VFDs, transmission, and heavy industrial power systems
    • Familiarity with P&IDs, PFDs, and equipment specification
    • Proficient in the engineering and design process, including front end engineering, cost estimates, gated reviews, detailed engineering, and construction support
    • Experience in both brown field and green field projects
    • Proficiency in National Electrical Code
    • Skilled in AutoCAD and MS Office
    • Comfortable with client-facing interactions and effective communication with project teams and customers
