Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Foreign Languages typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. CFR’s Blavatnik and Robina Franklin Williams internships give selected interns the opportunity to receive training in the area of foreign policy; as well as skills training in areas such as writing, research, and program planning.
As Foreign Affairs pursues innovative ways to reach a larger audience for the magazine, it is rolling out projects focusing on editorial taxonomy, SEO Research and website optimization. The intern will learn about content optimization for Google as it relates to international politics and political science. The intern will also be exposed to the practical applications of categorization concepts, and apply them to ForeignAffairs.com's user experience.
CFR internships are paid, require a 14 - 18 hour commitment, and are filled on a rolling basis.
CFR’s summer internship program gives interns the opportunity to choose whether to work in our office in a hybrid capacity (half in the office, and half remote), or on an offsite fully remote basis.
